I live in Country Estates, where I am raising three amazing boys with my wonderful husband, Andrew. I am very close to my family and feel their support in every choice I have made. My family owns Infinitus Pie in Broomfield where our mission is, "Inspiring via mouthwatering iPIE coupled with our passionate dedication to community, education, and humor." My family has been active in the Broomfield community for decades through city council, Chamber of Commerce and volunteering. I am excited and yerning to carry on our family tradition of serving our Broomfield community.
I am proud to say that I am a product of our public education system here in Broomfield and once an eagle, always an eagle. After completing high school, I was an exchange student to Sao Paulo. I returned to UNC to major in both Spanish Literature and Human Communication Studies at the University of Northern Colorado. I became fluent in Spanish. During an internship abroad in Brazil I expanded my passion for serving others by creating a literacy program for pregnant women and girls. I am trilingual with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
During my time in Brazil I served as a ambassador for the United States, where I developed a reading program for pregnant women ages 13-30 and prepared creative methods to introduce children to library resources. I have served as an interpreter for children and an Assistant Director for Grassroots Campaigns. I work at FISH, Food Bank and Family Resource Center in Broomfield. I am a member of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization for Women), Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, Metro North Chamber of Commerce, and a founding member of 100 Broomfield Women Who Care.
